About Me

A true citizen of the world, Fabrizio was raised between the sun-drenched streets of Italy, the rolling hills of Ireland and the hustle and bustle of the United States, where he honed his storytelling skills at the American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI).

He strives to use his cross-cultural perspective and sensibility to tell socially relevant stories that explore characters dealing with their personal identity and place in the world.

Fabrizio has developed projects with companies such as Fremantle’s The Apartment, Eric Barmack’s Wild Sheep and Alessandro Passadore’s Viola Film. Most recently, a short film he wrote and produced premiered at the 69th edition of the Taormina Film Fest in Italy and the 19th edition of the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles.

In 2023, Fabrizio was part of a writers’ room with British writer Tony Grisoni and produced A Marine Biologist’s Journey Into Conversation, a mini-doc for CNN and Samsung.

Among all his achievements, Fabrizio’s proudest moments are still having his short film Solitary – a thought-provoking look at a man in solitary confinement – screened at the White House in 2016 and being chosen as one of 10 emerging European screenwriters for the Only Writers in the Building event at Berlinale 2023.
